Ladislav
Kuklik was born in Prague in 1947. Having studied art and
illustration in Prague, he began exhibiting independently
from 1976. He is an extradordinary artist who strives to capture
the very essence of life - whether through sketches of a gazelle
in flight from a lioness, or in the tender portraits of his
wife (his model and muse, and whom he quotes as his 'lifelong
inspiration') His work is represented in the National Gallery of Prague
and several other major national and independent galleries
abroad, as well as featuring in private collections around
the world. |
