Olivia graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1999 with a First Class Honours degree in Contemporary Crafts. Since then, she has exhibited widely around the U.K.

She draws inspiration from the unique characters in the animal kingdom – she is particularly drawn to the unloved and ostracised members of this community for instance turkeys, rats, pigeons etc. She strives to capture the essence of these creatures and allows these poor souls to shine in her large scale and humorous installations.
