Daniel was born in Glasgow in 1951, and studied at both the Glasgow School of Art and the Glasgow College of Building and Printing.  After graduating, he worked as an artist and lithographer in the printing industry. In 1995, he became a full-time artist, setting up a studio at home, where he continues to paint full-time to this day.  His work has proved tremendously popular and is now taken to print by several companies.  His original work is now highly sought after, and can be found in many private and corporate collections within Scotland, UK and further afield.  Daniels’ brightly coloured paintings feature stunning Scottish landscapes as well as woodland scenes, florals, figurative work and a small amount of abstract work.  We are thrilled to be the first gallery in Edinburgh to represent Daniel and have already had great success with his work.
