Born in East Africa to an Austrian mother and Scottish father, she moved to Scotland at the age of thirteen and went on to study at Glasgow School of Art in the seventies. She has work in private and corporate collections around the world."My main inspiration is in the Scottish land and seascape. I enjoy using colour to define contours, structure and changing light sequences. I search out specific view points. I am equally inspired by the changing light sequences of the Western Isles and the dramatic view pionts of the Eastern coastline. I work predominantly in oil".
