Ever since Catriona Millar’s 2005 Degree Show at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen sold out within a few hours her unique and highly distinctive figurative paintings have captivated and delighted art collectors.
Catriona is recognised as one of Scotland’s foremost figurative painters. She has exhibited across the UK and her paintings are collected throughout Europe, the Far East and America. She has won the respect and acclaim of collectors, critics and leading galleries while her stunning works continue to enjoy a special place amongst the contemporary art buying public. She is based up in the North of Scotland, where she lives with her husband, a writer and artist himself.
In 2007 The Herald newspaper ranked Catriona as one of the top five most collectable artists in Scotland and for the past four years the first works to be sold at the renowned Glasgow Art Fair have been paintings by Catriona.
