Born in Ayrshire, Pam graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1986 with a degree in design. She has had a varied career, working both as a Textile Designer and Art and Design teacher. Pam now paints full time and her work is exhibited throughout Scotland. She finds that working in pastels feels most natural to her and allows her individual and distinctive ‘floating colour’ palette to emerge. It is from this point that other paintings and ideas surface.
