David Graham studied at Edinburgh College of Art and after a long career in teaching he now enjoys painting full time. With family on Mull, frequent visits there provide much painting inspiration. Skye and Scotland’s West Coast also often feature in David’s work, with their rugged coastlines and sandy beaches.
David paints in various mediums, including watercolour, acrylic and oil. Over the years he has developed two styles of painting; his first style is traditional and representational and the second is a more abstract and fluid representation of the land and sea.
