We are a small, enthusiastic and committed team. We are always ready to share our knowledge about art and listen to what our clients might be looking for.
Eileadh joined Morningside Gallery in 2006, initially working part time in the gallery whilst completing her PhD in Social Anthropology. She got the art bug and stayed, and in 2012 she became a Director of the gallery, alongside then owner Mike Day. Eileadh's life long appreciation of art, along with her anthropological interest in why people are drawn to and connect with particular works of art, makes running an art gallery the perfect job. In 2018 Eileadh took over as owner of Morningside Gallery and she is thoroughly enjoying the challenges and rewards that this new chapter brings.
Sally joined the Morningside Gallery team in late 2014 and she is now Gallery Manager, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day gallery life. Sally has always worked within in the creative sector; having graduated with a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing from Edinburgh College of Art, she went on to produce her own work, and teach art and design at universities, schools and art centres across Scotland. More recently she returned to education to pursue a Masters in Exhibition Design, and then spent time in Canada where she worked in interiors and merchandising.
